DILTON Marsh Arts Trust is counting down to its next event, which will see folk duo Simon Mayor and Hilary James play at the Memorial Hall in March.
The musical pair will bring their show ‘A Riot of Music and Laughter’ to the Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall on Saturday 12th March.
Simon Mayor and Hilary James have toured around the world playing everything from folk ballads to 1930s swing, lively mandolin tunes and classical showstoppers, as well as their own material.
Simon plays the mandolin, guitar, and fiddle, while Hilary sings and plays the unusual mandobass. The pair have received critical acclaim and have featured on numerous BBC radio shows. BBC World Service called them “sheer musical brilliance.”
The show will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the arts trust chairman, Clive Short, on 01373 823870 or clive. short@me.com. Entry costs £8 per adult, £7 per concession, or £5 per child.
