GOODING Accounts kick-started their mission to raise £10,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance last month with their curry and quiz night, raising over £1,300.
Gooding Accounts, an accountancy firm on Warminster Road, Westbury, held the charity curry and quiz night on Friday 7th June in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The team has dedicated all of their fundraising efforts this year to Wiltshire Air Ambulance after an employee’s daughter was killed in a car accident in January.
Gooding Accounts said, “Our curry & quiz charity night in June was a huge success. We had raffle prizes generously donated by clients, friends and family to help us make the night a wonderful event.
“We raised over £1,300 towards our total of £10,000 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, so this is a great start to reaching our goal to help as much as we can for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance charity. We have lots more events coming up this year so watch this space.”
As well as the quiz night, director, Sam Gooding, is taking part in an ultramarathon called ‘Race to the Stones’ on Saturday 13th July. Other employees have jumped out of planes, taken part in marathon walks and more.
They are also hosting a bingo night on Friday 19th July at The Hunters Moon in Warminster, as well as a charity race night on Saturday 19th October at the White Horse Country Park.
