THE Active Retirement Club of Westbury recently made a £150 donation to the Little Lights Stay and Play group to help the group’s organisers continue to provide fun-filled activities for Westbury’s babies and toddlers.
The Little Lights group meets every Thursday in term time at the West End Baptist Church in Westbury from 1pm to 2.30pm. It is run by Westbury Area Churches Together and is suitable for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and their parents/carers/childminders.
The organisers of Little Lights say, “Come along for play, crafts, songs, chat and support. Tea and coffee is available for the adults and snacks are provided for the children. There is a suggested donation of £1.50 per family. We offer free parking at the Methodist Church, which is only a short walk away.
“Please check out the Facebook page (search Little Lights) and come along if you’d like to join in the fun. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.”
