The Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance responded to 13 incidents in Westbury during the first six months of 2026.
The charity provides critical medical care by land and air across Wiltshire and Bath, bringing specialist teams and equipment directly to those in need as quickly as possible.
The Westbury callouts included an incident at Westbury CofE Junior School in February, when the air ambulance landed after a pupil required medical assistance. The school later confirmed the child was okay.
Between 1st January and 30th June, the team responded to 595 missions across the region, averaging three callouts a day.
Chief executive Barbara Gray said, “We are incredibly proud to provide lifesaving critical care to people across our community, 365 days a year. Behind every number is a real person, along with their family, friends and loved ones. With our busiest February on record, these figures highlight just how vital our service is. As a charity, we are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us so far this year. Together, we are helping to save lives.”
The charity receives no regular government funding and relies entirely on donations and support from local communities to continue providing its vital service.
