DILTON Marsh History Society will be holding a talk this week to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
Local military historian Tony Coutts-Britton will be giving the talk at Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall on Friday 11th September at 7.30pm.
The talk, entitled ‘A Close Run Thing’ will document the Battle of Waterloo, during which Napoleon Bonaparte’s army was defeated by British and Prussian forces in 1815.

Tea and coffee available, or guests may bring their own wine.
