BBC Antiques Roadshow expert, Siobhan Tyrrell, will be coming to the Westbury Leigh Community Hall to help value and identify any potentially valuable items you may have hidden away.
The antiques valuation day will take place on Saturday 2nd September from 10am to 4pm. Siobhan, who is also head of valuations at Dawsons Auctions, will be joined by Dawsons’ head of jewellery, Nicky Houston.
A spokesperson for the community hall says, “The experts are looking forward to meeting you, seeing your items and sharing some fascinating stories. We encourage each participant to bring along one or two items of jewellery, silver or gold, or perhaps a watch or bronze to be valued; their findings may surprise you!
“Our kitchen will be open whilst you wait with a selection of hot and cold drinks and delicious cakes; why not pop down and see what treasures you may have.”
There will be a £1 charge per item valued and all proceeds will be going to the Westbury Leigh Community Hall.
