BRATTON’S Jubilee Players will perform ‘Beauty and the Beast’ in their annual pantomime on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th February.
The show will run at 7.30pm on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with an extra 2pm matinee on the 4th.
The senior and junior sections of the Players are performing ‘Beauty and the Beast’, a pantomime by Bristol playwright Ben Crocker. The show will be performed at the Jubilee Hall in Bratton.
The Players’ Val Witcomb says, “Come along and see Felix the poodle eventually find his love, Ma face perils to try and rescue Beauty and, of course, Beauty finally marry her prince. As always, everybody lives happily ever after in true panto fashion!
The Jubilee Players now has a new junior section following the inclusion of local children in 2016’s ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
The junior section has 12 members who meet on a Wednesday at 7pm prior to the Jubilee Players’ meeting. Pantomime tickets are available from Gill Hurn on 01380 830497 and cost £7.50 each, or £5 for under 14s.
