WHITE Horse Country Park is preparing for its annual popular bonfire night, which will take place on Saturday 5th November from 6.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by the fireworks starting at 7pm.
Organiser Hannah Bowden said, “We’ll be using a variety of different fireworks and setting the display to music; plus special guest Mighty Miss Blues. The Bath-based cover band play rock, jazz, blues and soul – they are sure to get your feet tapping.
“We’re also determined to make it the biggest bonfire in Westbury. Hopefully the weather will be good and we can have a successful night like we have in the past. We normally get a couple of thousand people coming along, so it should be a great evening for all the family!”
Tickets for the bonfire night are £5 for adults or £2.50 children if bought in advance from the club, or £6 and £3 if bought on the night. Under 3s go free. The White Horse Country Park is on Coach Road, Westbury. Call 01373 822323 for more information.
