WHITE Horse Country Park is preparing for its annual popular bonfire night, which will take place on Saturday 8th November from 6.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30, followed by the fireworks starting at 7.00pm.
Organiser Hannah Bowden said, “We’ll be using a variety of different fireworks and setting the display to Disney music. We’re also determined to make the biggest bonfire in Westbury – last year’s burnt for three weeks afterwards! We struggled last year because the weather was horrendous, but hopefully it’ll be much better this time and we can have a successful night like we have in the past. We normally get a couple of thousand people coming along, so it should be a great evening for all the family!”
Tickets for the bonfire night are £4 for adults or £2.50 children if bought in advance from the club, or £5 and £2.50 if bought on the night. Under 3s go free. The White Horse Country Park is on Coach Road, Westbury. Call 01373 822323 for more information.
