Bratton Community Brass Bands are preparing for a busy festive season, with a range of events for the community.
The bands will be performing carols throughout Bratton on 8th December and at the Bratton Church Institute on 15th December at 5.30pm.
Bratton Brass Band will perform its Christmas concert at the Jubilee Hall in Bratton on Sunday 21st December, described as ‘an afternoon of Christmas music and carols and always a favourite with friends, family and the local community.’
The concert starts at 2pm and entry is free.
Bratton Silver Band are also performing Hans Christian Andersen’s timeless fairy tale The Snow Queen.
Performances will take place at St Laurence School in Bradford on Avon on Saturday 6th December at 2.30pm and The Neeld Hall in Chippenham on Sunday 14th December at 5pm.
“Featuring live brass music, narration and stunning projected visuals, this enchanting performance brings to life the story of Gerda and Kai, the wicked hobgoblin Gorgoth and the Snow Queen’s icy realm,” said Sue Jackson, secretary of Bratton Community Brass Bands.
“This is the original story for Disney’s Frozen and features many tunes from the films – a spellbinding experience for audiences of all ages.”
