Tickets are now on sale for Bratton Jubilee Players’ latest event – two one-act comedies with a dessert served at the interval.
‘Two Plays and a Pudding’ will feature two short comedies, with food served between the acts. The event will take place on 15th, 16th and 17th May. Tickets cost £12, and doors will open at 7pm, with the show beginning at 7.30pm.
The first play, Miss Glossop’s Weekend Break by Stuart Ardern, follows the aftermath of a murder at a small hotel.
After the interval, the group will perform Between Mouthfuls by Alan Ayckbourn, where two couples at adjoining restaurant tables discover an unwelcome connection as their conversations intertwine.
The Bratton Jubilee Players were formed in 1996 and have been performing ever since. They meet every Wednesday evening at 8pm in Bratton’s Jubilee Hall and are always looking to welcome ‘new blood’, young or old, in and around the village.
