IF YOU want to catch the popular Bratton Silver Band singing carols you won’t have to travel far over Christmas.
The award-winning band travels far and wide to entertain crowds but has a number of concerts in and around Westbury in the run up to Christmas.
On Thursday 11th December, they will be playing at the Christmas Tree Festival at All Saints Church in Westbury from 7:00 pm.
On Sunday 14th they will be singing at a Carols by Candlelight Service at 4:30pm in Bratton Baptist Church.
And the following day, Monday 15th, they will be at the Westbury Rotary Club Carol Service at 6:30 pm in All Saints Church, Westbury.
Tuesday 16th will see them join the Friends of Erlestoke Prison and the Wessex Male Choir for a Christmas Concert in Edington Priory Church. Tickets are £15 for adults and under 16s free.
These are followed by three ‘home’ concerts in Bratton itself.
Friday 19th December , sees the band playing Christmas Music at The Duke of Bratton from 8pm and on Sunday 21st, the band’s own Christmas Concert will be performed at the Jubilee Hall in Bratton. Sunday evening then sees the band at the Carol Service in St James Church, Bratton from 6:00 pm
“Please come along and support your local band,” says bandmaster – Carol Bowes. “It’s a great chance to see us close to home.”
