BRIGHT Sparks, a stay-and-play group in Dilton Marsh, would like to thank Westbury Lions for their generous gift towards the playgroup’s Christmas party in December.
Clare at Bright Sparks said, “There was plenty to do: play snow had been arranged, which was enjoyed by all ages, there was lots of free play, and one of the playgroup helpers held a festive photo shoot, with all the families being sent the files to put on cards or gifts.
“There was a feast of treats to eat and Christmas crackers to pull. Then every child received a gift of a gingerbread man ornament made by people connected with the church, a cookie cutter and a book in a little gingerbread house. Thank you, Westbury Lions!
“The playgroup is run by Providence Baptist Church, Tower Hill, on the edge of Westbury Leigh and Dilton Marsh, and is held every Monday morning, 10–11.30 am, in term-time, for children 0–5 and their carers.
“On a normal week, you might find us playing with trains, jigsaws and a sensory tray. We also get stuck into a craft each week, as well as enjoying a snack, story and singing time.
“Everyone is welcome – find us on Facebook by searching for Bright Sparks Playgroup.”
