CADETS and staff from 68 Westbury Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, helped last week with fund raising as well as provided a climbing wall in support of the Longleat Armed Forces Celebration weekend.
The organisers were really impressed by all the cadets, including army cadets from Westbury, as they were excellent ambassadors for the military, as well as for young people in the town. The event was a resounding success with over 10,000 visitors enjoying the extravaganza. Flt Lt John Gillespie, officer commanding Westbury Air Cadets said he was extremely impressed by all the cadets at the event. Westbury RAFAC meet every Wed and Fri from 1900 to 2130 at the Cadet Centre on White Horse Road in the town.
