CARER Support Wiltshire is continuing regular meetings in Westbury and want to try to reach more people who could benefit from the sessions.
The meetings are held by the Carer Support Wiltshire charity in order for unpaid carers to meet with one another and receive support and advice.
The West Wilts Parent Carer Group meet at Crosspoint in the Market Square to discuss caring for a child or young adult aged 19 or under. Some sessions are run by Carer Support Wiltshire, and others by the parent carers themselves.
Meetings will run from 9.30am-11.30am on 22nd October, 26th November, and 17th December.
Westbury Carers’ Café meet at Madame Butterfly Café on Maristow Street, and offer a more informal chance for carers of all kinds to have a chat over a drink. These sessions will run from 10.30am-12.00pm on 14th October, 11th November, and 9th December. Carer Support Wiltshire is a registered charity who offer support, advice, information and breaks to unpaid adult carers.
