Chapmanslade Parish Council has announce that their draft Parish Plan is now ready for residents to review.
Meetings will be held in the Village Hall on Saturday 16th March at 2.00pm and on Thursday 21st March at 7.30pm when residents will be invited to offer their views and ideas on the draft plan.
The Parish Plan is an initiative of the parish council arising from a ‘voice of the village’ questionnaire, which was widely circulated in the parish in 2017. Well over half of Chapmanslade’s residents gave their views and feedback. The plan is based on what they said in the questionnaire; it outlines parish life as it is now and identifies possible initiatives that address villagers’ issues and aspirations for the future.
Keith Muston, chairman of Chapmanslade Parish Council said, “The Parish Plan aims to provide information about the parish, its environment, community make-up, facilities and amenities, while concurrently offering suggestions (drawn from the Voice of the Village survey) on how it could be improved, both in the short term and within the next five years.”
