A VIRTUAL charity horse racing night is taking place at the Leigh Park Community Centre on Saturday 30th September to raise money for the centre’s community garden project.
The night will kick off at 7pm and tickets, which cost £10, will include a ploughman’s dinner and there will also be a licenced bar and a raffle. The virtual race night will see eight races with bets only costing £1 – but you can bet as many times as you like in every race.
Organisers say, “All money raised from the event is going towards our additional land project phase two! I’m sure you can all agree that phase one of the new outdoor seating area, playpark, extended grassed lawn, planters and more look fantastic and we don’t want to lose the momentum so we are asking for your generous support at our next event!
“Tickets are £10 each and include a ploughman’s dinner or we are offering a sponsorship table for up to ten people, with a bottle of wine, plus sponsorship of your company or group for one of the following: betting tote, race booklet, after dinner chocolates or raffle! The sponsorship of £150 a great way to advertise your business and support our community charity at the same time! Sorry over 18s only due to betting regulations. There will be a licenced bar on the night serving all your favourite drinks from the fully stocked bar with great prices to match.”
