WESTBURY parent and toddler church group, First Steps to Worship, recently celebrated its 26th birthday.
Group member Sharon Jones said, “We celebrated our 26th birthday with cake and balloons recently.
“The group was started by then-curate Reverend Dorothy Bellamy in 1990.
“Ever since then babies, toddlers and their parents, grandparents and childminders have enjoyed the weekly songs and stories, along with refreshments and a chat all packed into an hour. The sessions are held at All Saints Church, from 9.30am on Wednesday mornings in term time. There is no charge and all are very welcome to just come along.”
