Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park in Dilton Marsh is buzzing as preparations for the festive season now in full swing.
Excitement has reached fever pitch with the opening of its Christmas Wonderland and Grotto, a magical and unique experience for the whole family to enjoy. Plus they’re giving away the chance to win a free stay in one of their luxury lodges!
“Join us on selected dates throughout this month to wander through our twinkling snow covered woodland where you’ll discover Father Christmas in his snug Shepherd’s Hut hideaway,” said Lizzie Purser. “Take a seat next to the roaring fire where children will receive their special gift to take home.
“All children are to be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the experience but unlike other grottos we don’t charge for accompanying adults (or babies under one year) meaning you can bring the whole family along to enjoy the experience at no extra cost.
“When your wonderland experience is over there’s no need for the fun to end there. The ticket price of £10 includes entry to our soft play (usual cost £4.75) plus access to beautiful lakeside walks and use of outdoor play areas including our popular Little Tikes play area.
“Our lovely café will be open for a tasty home cooked breakfast, lunch, tea, yummy slice of cake, fantastic coffee or warming hot chocolate and we have a fantastic children’s menu which includes super healthy options.
“Our wonderland is undercover & heated making it suitable for all weathers
“Father Christmas and his Winter Wonderland are open on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd December.
“For adult visitors . . . Father Christmas has given special permission for guests to take photos on his sleigh before it’s whisked off to the workshop for packing and our favourite pic could win you a stay in one of our luxury lodges!
“It’s easy to enter, simply book to visit Father Christmas, take some snaps of you/your group on his sleigh, share on social media (full instructions available in the sleigh) and the winner will be announced on Christmas Eve.
