Westbury Town Council would like to say a big thank you to all those that entered both the Christmas Card Exhibition and Model Competition held at The Laverton on Saturday 7th November and made the event very successful.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Westbury had the difficult task of selecting winners of each category for both competitions and were amazed at the amount of entries this year.
The Mayor, Cllr David Bradshaw said, “In my eyes everyone is a winner.”
The Mayor and Mayoress of Westbury will use the overall winning design of the Christmas card competition as their Christmas card this year.
The winners of both competitions will be announced at the ‘Christmas Lights Switch On Event’ on Saturday 28th November in the High Street, where the Mayor and Mayoress will present all the winners with their prizes and they will help turn the lights on at 6.30pm. The build up will start from 5.00pm this year will live music and lots of entertainment.
