The annual Christmas market returned to Westbury Leigh Community Hall last month, featuring a range of local stalls and a Santa’s grotto.
“It was a very successful afternoon enjoyed by all,” said Deb Guinnane from Westbury Leigh Community Project Ltd, the organisers of the event. “The committee would like to thank everyone who attended, the stallholders and the volunteers for making the event such a wonderful experience.”
Deb also expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the Christmas raffle, adding, “We would like to extend a big thank you to Centre Parcs, Will Davies, Clarissa Notice, Lynda Blythe, Naomi and David Styles, Tracey Hamilton-Sheen and her family, and all those who generously donated to make the raffle a success. Special thanks go to The Hollies, Tesco Express Leigh Park, Tesco Express Trowbridge Road, White Horse Cafe, Rucksack Charity Shop, Giovanni’s, Fore Hair, Cards Plus, B’s Cafe, Morrisons Westbury, Zia Pizza, Eunice Evans and all the volunteers who baked their delicious cakes.”
“It was a truly wonderful community event that would not have been possible without the support of everyone,” Deb added.
