WESTBURY Leigh Community Hall is continuing to grow its offerings for the community after the pandemic and lockdown.
The hall now hosts exercise, relaxation and meditation classes as well as various craft classes.
“The hall is beginning to be used once again by local organisations as an alternative meeting place and continues to be a popular venue for parties,” said a spokesperson for the hall.
“The committee that runs the Westbury Leigh Community Hall charity is keen to see it as a focus for local community events and recently held a very successful pumpkin carving day and pumpkin trail.
“The Christmas Market, held in the hall on Saturday 20th November from 2:00pm, will be enjoying a revival this year, and the offerings have grown to include carol singing and switching on of the Christmas lights.
“Father Christmas will be in his grotto to delight the youngsters and there will be a host of local craft stalls and a hot dog stall and coffee.
“This month the hall is able to finally bring back our popular quiz; this will be held on Saturday 27th November, with the quiz starting promptly at 7:30pm. The cost is £10 for a team of up to 6 people.”
