A popular Westbury festive tradition is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, with the annual Christmas Tree Festival returning to All Saints Church.
The church will be filled with decorated Christmas trees from local schools, groups and businesses from Friday 27th November to Sunday 29th November.
The festival has grown over the years and organisers are hoping to make this year’s anniversary event the biggest yet.
David Bullock, chair of the Christmas Tree Festival Committee, said, “Last year we had the largest number of trees since Covid, so we are looking to gather even more this year, as there’s still a lot of space in the church to fill.”
Schools, groups and businesses interested in entering a tree can contact the White Horse team office by emailing office@whtministry.org.uk or telephoning 01373 8595450.
Entry to the competition is by donation and all proceeds will go towards the church.
Volunteers are also being sought to help steward the festival, serve refreshments and look after musicians performing during the weekend.
Anyone interested in helping can contact Debbie McEntee on 07763 323475.
