Westbury Choral is hosting a relaxed ‘Come and Sing’ event next weekend, which will end with an informal concert performance of Fauré’s Requiem.
The day will be directed by their new conductor, Matthew Bale.
“Matthew spent many years with Bath Choral Society, and this is his first event with Westbury Choral,” said Jane Lever, a Westbury Choral committee member.
“Let’s make it one to remember!”
The event will take place at Westbury Methodist Church on Saturday 18th October. The cost to attend is £12, which includes refreshments. Scores are available to hire for £3. Organisers are asking participants to bring their own lunch.
Registration is at 10.30am and the singing will start at 11am. The day will end with an informal concert for family and friends at 5pm.
