CHARLIE’S Bar have a packed diary in the coming weeks; here’s what’s coming up.
On Friday 14th August, 9pm – 11.45pm, Charlie’s welcomes Soulville Express. They are a Motown, soul, disco and funk covers band, with a set list guaranteed to have something for everyone.
The band is made up of experienced musicians, so you can be sure you’ll have a great night.
AFK – Afraid Knot will be playing on Saturday 15th August, 9pm – 11.45pm. AFK is a rock/classic rock covers band from the Southwest of England.
With a quality and professional sound, the music that they play is a carefully chosen mix of rock\classic rock songs (with the occasional pop or blues song thrown in for good measure) dating from the 70s through to the present day to suit most age groups with plenty for the guitar fans.
On Friday 21st August, 9pm-11.45pm, five-piece rhythm, rock and blues band, No Mean Feat, will be playing.
Think guitar led rock with keyboard, bass and drums that gives a raw but tight sound, creating rock tempo blues that you just have to get up and dance to.
For the first time, Charlie’s welcomes local rock and pop cover band, The Crash Gears, to the stage on Saturday 22nd August, 9pm-11.45pm.
