COMMUNITY group, POPCAN, Penleigh & Oldfield Park Community Action Network, are looking for stalls for this year’s POP-up fun day which will take place on Sunday 30th June in Penleigh Park.
So far confirmed activities and stalls are; skate park activities, spoz poetry slam, wonky olympics, big community picnic, and a community action stall (POPCAN).
Scott Jacobs-Lange of Sovereign Housing said, “We are looking for other groups or organisations who are involved in this community to have a stall or run an activity. We’d also like to find a community group who want to sell home-made cakes and refreshments.
“We also need some more volunteers to help on the day, make the site safe, put up gazebos and generally steward etc, And put the date in your diary!”
