An open day will take place at Westbury Parish Hall on Saturday 24th October from 11am to 2pm.
Locals are invited to explore the hall and playground on Church Lane, with the opportunity to find out more about renovation work, hall bookings, clubs and future events.
The event will also include free kids’ craft activities and refreshments.
The open day is organised by the White Horse Community Hub, a charity which is working towards taking on responsibility for the hall and its grounds from All Saints’ Church, while volunteers continue renovation work.
The building has served the local community since 1873, first as a primary school and more recently as a community space for clubs, events and children’s groups.
