A free community picnic will take place at Penleigh Park this month for local residents.
The Penleigh and Oldfield Community Picnic will take place on Thursday 20th August from 12pm until 2pm.
The event has been organised by Wiltshire Council’s Community Conversations and Westbury Town Council in partnership with local housing associations Selwood Housing and Sovereign Network Group.
“The event invites local residents and friends to bring a picnic and enjoy the event which is completely free. It includes sports activities with Wiltshire Council’s Door Step Sports Provision, some fun, free art activities organised by TEAM10, a reading/book event with Westbury Library, information and activities about bats in Westbury, as well as updates on the Penleigh Park Wildlife garden,” said TEAM10 coordinator Susannah Duval.
The event is also an opportunity to meet the housing teams at Selwood and Sovereign.
