A FUNDRAISING campaign has been launched to help a family whose house was damaged by a fire last month.
Already £1,500 as well as items of furniture has been raised for Steve Seals and his partner Kirsty Sisson and their family who lived in the house. Local companies have also offered to help rebuild the house and offers of places to stay have been given.
The first floor and roof of the property were destroyed in the blaze which was tackled by over 25 fire fighters from nearby fire stations.
Luckily no one was injured in the fire but the house is too damaged for the family to go back and salvage their property.
Local pub/restaurant, The Hollies Inn is collecting money and items for the family who have thanked the community for their support.

There will also be a fundraising event on Friday 11th August at The Hollies Inn from 7-11pm. There will be live music, a raffle and an auction.
