A volunteer for a community transport service has been recognised after 11 years of service.
David Green has spent more than a decade volunteering for Four Villages Link, a charity which provides services including driving residents to medical and other appointments and helping with household tasks in Bratton, Edington, Erlestoke and Coulston.
Over the years, David has held a number of roles with the charity, including committee member, deputy treasurer, trustee and driver.
He was presented with a card and gardening voucher in recognition of his service at a recent coffee morning.
Catherine Elliot, from Four Villages Link, said, “He was highly regarded by clients for his warmth and willingness to help. At 79, David feels it is time to take a rest, and he will be very much missed by clients, volunteers and the committee.”
