WESTBURY & District Link Scheme is appealing for more volunteer drivers to help transport local people who can’t drive or use public transport.
Volunteers can choose how often they are willing to work and where they are willing to drive to.
The scheme usually involves taking people to medical appointments but could also be for social visits or shopping trips.
The role involves picking up the client, driving them to the appointment, then picking them up and driving them home. It is an unpaid job, but drivers receive a mileage allowance.
