WESTBURY’S White Horse Day Centre now has vacancies for five new members (over 65s) on Tuesdays and five on Thursdays at the White Horse Day Centre, Grassacres Hall, Westbury.
The centre is open from 10am to 3pm and transport can be arranged for a small charge if you live in the town.
Organisers of the club say, “We offer a friendly and safe place to meet friends (old and new), a three-course lunch for a small fee, gentle exercise, games, quizzes and other activities such as singing along with the Golden Oldies, guest speakers and day trips. Why not come along and pay us a visit? You will be most welcome.
“We are also in desperate need of volunteers to come and join our happy band on both days.
“If you have an hour or two that you can spare to help us out, then we would love to see you; we will give you lunch and a cup of tea or coffee.”
