The White Horse Team Ministry is hoping to host a Deaf Awareness session in Westbury, following the success of the Disability and Inclusion Awareness Day held in February.
The team has received an invitation from Revd Neil Robinson, Chaplain to the deaf and hard of hearing community in the Salisbury Diocese, to visit and lead the session, which they hope will take place on Friday 12th September at Westbury Leigh Community Hall from 1pm to 2.30pm.
The White Horse Team said, “We would love to take Revd Neil up on this kind offer and hope to hold this session in Westbury. We would also like to invite others from churches in the local area and Deanery, as well as members of the wider community, to join us and take advantage of this opportunity.”
To go ahead, the session requires at least 20 attendees. Those interested in taking part are asked to book a place by 9th July by contacting Revd Holly Newton at teamcurate@whtministry.org.uk or on 07835 915580, providing your name and contact details.
“Should the session not be able to run, we will be in touch with those who have booked a place,” the team added.
