It’s the season that gardening has moved indoors, sifting through seed and plant catalogues and mulling over new ideas for next year’s botanical display.
Last month’s talk ‘ Constructing a rockery’ given by Clive Short was informative, very entertaining and will have us searching for the right size rocks and pebbles well into spring.
Our upcoming club meeting in December has a festive theme. We will be creating Christmas wreaths/table decorations, so bring along any seasonal trimmings/greenery to complete your arrangement. Refreshments of mulled wine and mince pies will be served for that festive touch.
If your new year’s plans include getting your garden in order, we meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall, Dilton Marsh, every month except January. Non members are always welcome.
We would like to wish all our members and guests, a very merry Christmas and a wonderful gardening new year.
