Over 150 runners took part in the Dilton Dash this month, raising £500 for local causes.
The event included 10km, 3km and 0.5km races and raised £400 for Dilton Memorial Hall and £100 for Friends of Dilton School (FODS).
“It was great to see so many new faces and always great to see the regulars,” said Tracey Hyde from Redfish Events. “We even had several from Westbury Running Group tackling their first ever 10K. Everyone absolutely smashed it, smiles all around.
“Luke kept hold of his title in the 0.5k and so did Ross from Swanage in the 3k. It was great to see so many new faces taking the prizes.
“I must admit there is a lot of hard work and I would like to thank all my amazing marshals for helping. But along with all the hard work comes the smiles and thank yous at the end.”
The next local running event run by Redfish Events is the White Horse Gallop on 18th October. To find out more, visit https://redfish-events.co.uk/index.php/events/
