This year’s Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show will take place on Saturday 12th August in the village Memorial Hall.
Organiser Liz Lee says, “To enter it is necessary to live in the village or be a member of a village organisation including the school.
“There will be classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, floral art, cookery, handicrafts, photography and a group display. This year there is an addition to the cookery section which is ‘Sugarcraft’, the subject being a topper for a wedding cake.
“Also new for children is the colouring in of a picture which will be supplied in advance. During late March schedules will be available from Fairfield Farm College, Holy Trinity Church and Crowning Glory.”
