A Garden Party, held at the home of David and Margaret Morris of Dilton Marsh, has raised £450 for local charities. The event took place on Saturday 12th July.
David said, “The event was held in aid of three charities, Horse Riding For The Disabled, Scallywags Mother & Toddler Group and the Dilton Church Relief Fund (i.e. new loo!).
“The sun shone and there was an amazing turnout of people who all enjoyed a cream tea and looking around the various stalls. The grand sum of £450 was made by the event.
“Susan Simpson attended the party with her relatives from Hong Kong and correctly chose the name of the enormous fluffy dog (‘Sid’).
