In March, members of Dilton Marsh Mothers’ Union took part in the ‘Women’s World Day Of Prayer’.
Women from all over the world, beginning when the sun comes up over Samoa and continuing until the sun sets over American Samoa, took part in the same order of service, which has been compiled by a different country each year.
This year, the women of Cuba used the theme ‘Receive Children, Receive Me.’ Representatives from all the churches in Westbury met at The United Reform Church to celebrate together and to learn about the lives of Cuban women.
On Mothering Sunday, at Holy Trinity Church, Pauline Loader was welcomed as a new member of the Mothers’ Union and she was presented with her badge and certificate by Revd David Hart and Jocelyn Short.
