Salads, puddings and wine were the theme of the July meeting as members of Dilton Marsh WI enjoyed their annual summer party.
They report, “It was an opportunity to eat, drink and talk. The business part of the meeting was kept to a minimum, with reports from some of the countywide events that have been organised this year, to mark the centenary of the Wiltshire Federation of WIs. Members are now looking ahead to the meetings for the rest of the year, which will include speakers on topics as diverse as the Julia House Children’s Hospice, ways to use herbs, paper flowers, and Cuba.
“Meetings are held in the Memorial Hall on the second Thursday of every month, starting at 7.30pm. Look at our Facebook page! Visitors of all ages are welcome.”
