A cheque for £528 that was raised from Suave wine bar’s Ladies Day last month, has been presented to Dorothy House Hospice.
Helena King, who is a nurse specialist at Dorothy House and received the cheque on behalf of the hospice said, “I was very pleased when they told me that they were donating the money to Dorothy House. I was more than happy to go along and receive the cheque and support them.”
Helena had a close connection with the event herself after caring for a family member of one of the staff at Suave.
She added, “I am delighted with the amount they raised. All the donations we receive make a big difference to the work we do and helps us continue to provide support to families and patients who need it.”
Suave wine bar is based at 31 Warminster Road, Westbury.
