Three Daggers brewery in Edington was deemed to have the best tasting ale at a blind tasting evening held at The Full Moon at Rudge, near Frome in aid of local charities.
Ale from three other breweries were up against the Three Daggers, at the event held on Thursday 19th June; Milk Street Brewery in Frome, Butcombe Brewery in Bristol and Cottage Brewery in Castle Cary.
Local people voted Three Daggers Ale the winner, closely followed by Milk Street Funky Monkey with Butcombe Bitter coming a close third.
Greene King supplied a bottle of ale to all participants of the evening. The Full Moon would like to thank all suppliers and everyone who attended the event.
