Ideal Images Photography, in conjunction with the Baby of the Month competition, is offering mums with babies under 12 months old the opportunity to enter a national photography competition that will generate funds for orphaned baby elephants in Africa.
David Douglas from Ideal Images said, “Any baby entered into the competition will receive a soft elephant toy called Tembo. The toy elephant represents orphaned baby elephants in Africa that have been taken into the care of The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which rescues and re-introduces back into the wild, orphaned baby elephants.
“I will make a donation for each Tembo given out and invite the parents to make a donation as well. There is a collection tin in the studio but nobody will be forced into donating. Also there is no charge for mothers to have their baby photographed or to enter the Baby of the Month competition.”
The competition has monthly prizes of Mothercare vouchers to the value of £100, and each winner is put forward into the annual Baby of the Year competition, with one baby having the chance to win £5,000.
