ENTRIES are now open for the Xmas 3k Fun Run taking place on Sunday 9th December at Leighton Recreation Centre.
The fun run has been organised by Redfish Events for the third year, who say, “The course is contained in the grounds of the leisure centre so everyone is welcome; adults, children, dogs and fancy dress. There is a free Santa hat for everyone to wear.
“We will be supporting Westbury Lions with a donation from this run – so it’s also an opportunity to give back to the local community.
“All finishers will receive a medal and there will be prizes for 1st male and female adult, male and female 11-16 year old, and male and female under 10. There will also be prizes for 1st dog and best fancy dress.
“Places are limited so get your tickets now; entrance fee is £7.50. Under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.”
