FAIRFIELD Farm College is one of three Wiltshire-based charities that have been nominated to share a £500 cash boost this Christmas.
And the college in Dilton Marsh now needs your votes to determine how much they will receive.
The money has been donated by local company, The Hills Group, and is being offered in place of the company sending Christmas cards to all its customers. The three charities which have been nominated are:
• Doorway Project, a homeless drop-in centre based in Chippenham
• C.A.L.M., supporting children with cancer and leukaemia in Swindon and Marlborough
• Fairfield Farm College, the specialist college in Dilton Marsh offering day and residential courses for young people with learning difficulties.
Mike Hill, chief executive of The Hills Group said, “We undertake charitable giving throughout the year and hope that this donation will enable the deserving causes to continue their excellent work.”
The charity which receives the most votes will get £300 and the remaining two will each receive £100.
Votes can be cast by going to the Facebook page at www.facebook. com/HillsGroup. The results will be announced in the first week in January 2014.
