A CHARITY darts match is being organised by a family from Dilton Marsh to raise money for their daughter who suffers with a rare disorder that affects her breathing.
Nikita Hughes, who is known as Dolly to her family and friends, is eight years old and suffers with congenital central hypoventilation syndrome, a disorder which means she must be supported by a machine at night to help her breathe.
The family have been raising money to go towards their house extension project to see Dolly’s condition managed during the night. They have previously raised money for a special bed to make her comfortable whilst wearing her mask, to keep her breathing during the night. Now, they are raising funds to replace her bedroom flooring.
The charity darts evening will take place at Westbury Labour Club on Saturday 18th August, where all are welcome to go and have a game.
The match will be a round robin format 501. You will play all three legs, a point for each leg, with the top two going through on each board.
The winner will receive £100 and the runner up £50 plus trophies. Women and juniors are also welcome. Entry fee is £8 with £3 blind doubles. Opening time is 12pm and registration deadline 1pm.
Donations of raffle prizes are also welcome. For more information contact Eddie Hughes on 07889 209514.
