Westbury’s local art studio is beginning an exciting new chapter after moving to a larger, brighter studio.
Fearless and Fun Art, which offers relaxed, informal art sessions, has relocated from Maristow Street to Haynes House on Warminster Road.
“The workshops are built on a simple belief: that anyone can paint,” said Westbury-based artist Kim Heath who runs the studio. “We’ve seen demand steadily grow as more people discover the joy and unexpected calm that painting can bring.
“This move means more space, more energy, more creativity – and more people discovering what they’re capable of.
“The new venue will allow bigger groups and a busier, buzzier atmosphere, while still holding onto the relaxed, welcoming feel that we are known for. It also creates exciting opportunities to expand into a wider range of techniques, including acrylics, mixed media and decoupage.”

Kim says that for many who walk through the door, the journey begins with doubt, often shaped by memories of being told at school that art “wasn’t for them.” But that belief doesn’t last long.
“I honestly didn’t think I had a creative bone in my body,” said one of the regulars, Helen. “Now I lose hours painting at home. It’s become my switch-off, my calm.”
“It’s not just about what you create – it’s how you feel while you’re doing it,” adds Paul. “I come in stressed and leave completely different.”
Roz agrees: “I came along just to try something new. Now I’m hooked. It’s the one place I don’t overthink – I just get stuck in and enjoy it.”
With the move comes an expanded programme of sessions designed for all levels with new “Come Paint With Me” workshops, beginner sessions and new “Friends Together” sessions where friends can come together for a coffee or even a glass of prosecco and enjoy a fun, creative time.
A range of structured courses will also be introduced, giving people the chance to dive deeper into different techniques and projects, with dates available online.
The new space will also evolve into a small gallery, showcasing local artists’ work and hosting evening events.
