As this year’s Christmas Festivities rapidly approach, Westbury Town Council will once again promote and support an exciting programme of celebrations, events and activities throughout November and December.
Now in its ninth year, the ‘Christmas in Westbury’ programme will feature a range of major events, together with the promotion of all local community events and activities – a festive programme with something for everyone.
Details of all events will be published in the ever popular ‘Christmas in Westbury’ booklet which is widely distributed to every home in the local area from the beginning of November, and is forwarded by a letter from the Mayor of Westbury Christine Mitchell. She said, “Once again Christmas is almost upon us and we are looking forward to our Christmas celebrations in Westbury, starting with our Christmas street event and Lights Switch-on on 22nd November. We hope everyone will come along and enjoy the celebrations with us.
“Christmas events and celebrations will continue in Westbury and the surrounding villages throughout December and we hope that everyone has a fabulous time. I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.”
