As we rapidly approach this year’s Christmas Festivities, Westbury Town Council will once again promote and support an exciting programme of celebrations, events and activities throughout November and December.
Now in its tenth year, the ‘Christmas in Westbury’ programme will feature a range of major events, together with the promotion of all local community events and activities – a festive programme with something for everyone.
Details of all events will be published in the ever popular ‘Christmas in Westbury’ booklet which is widely distributed to every home in the local area from the beginning of November.
Cllr David Bradshaw, Mayor of Westbury said, “Christmas is fast approaching, and it seems only yesterday that we celebrated the last one.
“We are all getting very excited about our forthcoming Christmas celebrations in Westbury. The Street Fayre and Christmas Lights Switch-on event starts at 10am on Saturday 28th November, and promises to be spectacular this year, so come along and join in the festive fun. Don’t forget to look out for The Mayor’s Bear, who has been busy fund raising this year!
“I take this opportunity to thank all of those who have worked tirelessly over the last year to make our festive occasion a success. I look forward to seeing you all at the Christmas lights switch-on and wish you a very healthy, merry and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
