CANCER Research UK is holding a festive coffee morning at Heywood & Hawkeridge Village Hall on Saturday 9th Nov.
Organisers say, “During the morning, from 10am-12.30pm, start your Christmas shopping with something different; bring your friends and join us for a cuppa and a slide of delicious homemade cake!
“There will be delicious local honey and beeswax gifts, puzzles for everyone, unique and fabulous leaded glass decorations, cushions galore and bunting in every colour imaginable, pebble and button pictures, pop up cards, Christmas decorations, Scotch eggs and sausages produced in Hawkeridge, locally created jewellery and scarves, various inexpensive and humorous gifts to fill every Christmas stocking, bargain books, Cancer Research UK cards and more.
“There will also be a fabulous tombola with prizes to be won! Plenty of parking available, everyone is welcome! Entry by donation.”
