THE Westbury Leigh Community Project is getting into the Christmas spirit with two upcoming festive events – a Christmas Market and a Christmas bingo night.
Christmas market – Saturday 18th November 3pm to 7pm
The hall is run by Westbury Leigh Community Project volunteers who say, “We would like to thank everyone who came and supported our recent pumpkin carving event and now we are getting into the Christmas spirit with the Christmas market that has a revised time this year of 3pm to 7pm.
“Little ones will be able to get their Christmas wishes in early to Father Christmas by visiting him at his grotto. Our trusted post box direct to the North Pole will be ready and waiting for letters, and elves will be on hand with some Christmas magic.
“We will be offering tasty pulled pork buns, cakes, hot drinks, and mulled wine. The market is the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping, with lots to choose from local stallholders, and our popular raffle will have some great prizes on offer.
Christmas Bingo – Friday 1st December from 7pm
“‘Knock at the door’ at 7pm for eyes down at 7:30pm. Bring your own refreshments and be ready for a fun night. It may be ‘unlucky for some’, but others will be ‘top of the shop’. Good luck!”
All details are advertised on the Westbury Leigh Community Hall Facebook page. The hall can be found in Westbury Leigh, BA13 3SQ.
